New dates have been announced for ANZPHIC 2011 and the Serviced Apartments Summit after the event’s postponement this week due to the ash cloud from Chile’s Puyehue-Cordon Caulle volcano.
Visiting conference and incentive travel planners have hailed the quality of the New Zealand’s billion-dollar business tourism industry and say they are eager to bring more people to the country.
Attendees at New Zealand’s premier business tourism event this week were asked to share their ideas for making Christchurch the ideal destination for conferences and conventions.

Tomorrow’s (June 23) Serviced Apartments Summit and Thursday’s ANZPHIC 2011 conference have been postponed indefinitely due to the cancellation of Sydney flights as a result of the ash cloud from Chile’s Puyehue-Cordon Caulle volcano.
ANZPHIC 2011, dubbed ‘Catching the Next Wave’ is now less than a week away, with the industry set to meet at Hilton Sydney on June 23 and 24 to discuss the major issues facing the hotel sector at present.
