Exclusive by James Wilkinson in Berlin, Germany

AccorHotels CEO, Sébastien Bazin, says the future for the global chain could come in the form of more technology acquisitions and not necessarily through more hotel brands.

Speaking exclusively to HM on video in Berlin, Germany, recently, Bazin said AccorHotels plans to plans to enter the packaged food delivery space in a move that would see the group take on Deliveroo and Uber Eats in a play that would see customers earning loyalty points along the way.

Bazin also revealed to HM the company is looking at the option of booking hotel rooms by the hour and how AccorHotels is countering against Airbnb across the globe.
