Exclusive by James Wilkinson in Berlin, Germany

Wyndham’s global President and CEO, Geoff Ballotti, says the company is set for yet another record year in 2016 as growth across the globe continues at a rapid pace.

Speaking exclusively to HM on video at the 2016 International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) at InterContinental Berlin, Ballotti said the company’s growth in Asia-Pacific, led by Barry Robinson and David Wray, was a key driver in global performance.

“2016 is going to be better than 2015,” he told HM. “2015 was a record year, 2014 was a record year… we are still seeing demand growth, and it’s still outpacing supply growth.”

In the exclusive interview, Ballotti also spoke about key markets for the company’s 16 brands, the timeshare side of the business, the strength of Wyndham in Australia and much more.
