AccorHotels’ service standards for Chinese visitors has attracted acclaim.

The Optimum Service Standards (OSS) program ensures that Chinese tourists receive the highest level of service standards when they visit AccorHotels in Australia. The OSS include Mandarin speaking staff and cultural training, translated hotel welcome kits, Chinese newspapers and tailored food and beverage items to the preferences of Chinese guests.

From a wide range of exporters across NSW, 85 finalists have been announced by the Export Council of Australia (ECA) and selected from the largest pool of applicants in the 53-year history of the awards.

AccorHotels is a finalist in the NSW Asian Exporter category.

Lisa McAuley, Chief Executive Officer for the Export Council of Australia said “The judges have been particularly pleased by the quality of the entries this year, because despite this being a particularly difficult year in terms of the domestic and global economic conditions, many applicants demonstrated a real talent for innovation – cleverly evolving their products to meet market needs. We congratulate AccorHotels on being named a 2015 Premier’s NSW Export Awards finalist.”

The awards ceremony will be held on 28 October at the Star, at Pyrmont in Sydney, with both the Hon. Mike Baird MP, Premier of NSW, Minister for Western Sydney and The Hon. Stuart Ayres MP, Member for Penrith, Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events, Minister for Sport as guests of honour.
