Typhoon Haiyan EDITED

In the aftermath of Super Typhoon Haiyan, many of Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila’s ambassadors’ family and relatives who live in the provinces of The Philippines have been affected badly.

Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila is helping its staff, ambassadors and the community through aiming to raise EUR100,000 (AUD$144,000) fund to help the casualties and to rebuild their shelters, provide food, water and clothing.

The hotel has set up a PayPal account (http://tinyurl.com/haiyandonate) that is being used to collect donations from both within Accor and from their guests and is working very hard on this initiative to achieve its donation target.

Basic goods such as food, water, medicine and clothing are accepted at the drop-off point in the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila lobby.
